The first exhibition in the RIBA Drawings Collection’s new Heinz Gallery in Portman Square.
The horizontal format was determined by the shape of the originals. Printed letterpress on off-white paper. The engraved block – in this case printed khaki – could be used for subsequent catalogues, as it carried all the permanent information, overprinted with the title of the specific exhibition.
