Letterhead with letter from Arnold Wesker

A further letterhead cited the whole of Resolution 42 passed at the Trades Union Congress in 1958. Demanding greater access to the arts and “with the aim of finding a popular audience for the arts”, its title was taken by the playwright Arnold Wesker for the conversion of the circular train shed in London’s Camden Town as an arts centre. Later known as the Round House.
